The first NodeLane Act version provides compact website operations through your own browser session, with tools discovered on demand.
- Three fixed MCP tools with 26 Reddit and 28 Zhihu operations.
- Automatic local bridge startup and extension discovery, without pairing or port configuration.
- List pagination, segmented full text, result caching, and normal-page Zhihu question and topic reads.
- Tab, URL, and document binding; cancellation, disconnection, and uncertain-write handling without automatic write replay.
- Browser ZIP, full plugin ZIP, MCPB packaging, and a standard stdio MCP entry point.
- 117 unit and integration tests and 25 live read-only checks. Writes use mocks and browser fixtures only.
Known limits
Image and video uploads and complete Reddit Chat are not implemented. macOS, Linux, and live execution of all write operations have not been verified. Website interfaces may change. Track issues and follow-up work at github.com/Wy2926/nodelane-act/issues.
