About NodeLane Act

Help AI understand what a website can do and carry out clear requests through your own browser.

Why this project exists

Cross-site tasks can require large page dumps, repeated element searches, and unrelated tool schemas. NodeLane Act packages common site features into independent adapters, discovers their inputs for the current task, and returns compact results with continuation when needed.

Website requests still happen in your browser. MCP handles connection, discovery, and output budgets; the extension handles execution in a selected page. The website’s own login, permissions, and verification remain in effect.

Four websites, one connection

Version 0.2.0 supports Zhihu, Reddit, X and WhatsApp. Independent adapters share three tools for on-demand discovery, compact content and user-directed actions.

Open source and maintenance

NodeLane contributors maintain the project under the MIT license. Source, issues, and contribution channels are at github.com/Wy2926/nodelane-act. The website is act.nodelane.net and the contact address is [email protected].
